The General Military Investigation Department of the RA Investigative Committee instituted a criminal proceeding on the fact of killing of the soldier Shakespeare Hakobyan by the enemy on the grounds of national, racial or religious hatred or religious fanaticism, the Information and Public Relations Department of the RA Investigative Committee informs.
On 5 February at around 16:15, soldier of one of the posts of military units of the Defense Army dislocated in eastern direction Shakespeare Hakobyan was deadly wounded by the intentional shot of the enemy on the grounds of national, racial or religious hatred or religious fanaticism. The soldier died in place.
The General Military Investigation Department of the RA Investigative Committee instituted a criminal case on the incident under the requirement of Article 104, Part 2, Point 13 of the RA Criminal Code.
