The preliminary investigation of the criminal case on inflicting grave damage to the health of the resident of Lori marz G Simonyan, was accomplished in Spitak Investigation unit of Lori marz Investigation Department.
The preliminary investigation revealed the identity and motives of the person apparently committed the crime.
On 11 December 2014 at 23:00 L. Naslyan, resident of Lori marz under the influence of alcohol, quarreled with his fellow villager G.Simonyan clarify the circumstances of cursing him and during the quarrel hit in the head of G.Simonyan with hands and feet. As a result the latter was caused grave open craniocerebral and other injuries.
In combination of evidences obtained L Naslyan was charged under Article 112 Part 1 of the RA Criminal Code. The prosecutor supervising the preliminary investigation confirmed the indictment and the case was sent to the Court of General Jurisdiction of Lori marz.
Note: The suspect or the accused of the alleged offence is deemed innocent unless his or her innocence is proved by virtue of the effective court verdict in the manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia.
