Yegor Adamyan, Lusine Avetisyan, and Rita Petrosyan, the successors of the victims in the case of the murder of the RA citizens in Gyumri had applied to the President of the RA Chamber of Advocates Ara Zohrabyan with request to provide them free of charge legal aid.
On the 30.01.2015 decision of the Deputy Head of the Public Defender’s Office, the successors of the victims Yegor Adamyan, Lusine Avetisyan, and Rita Petrosyan were provided a public defender, the Press service of the RA Chamber of Advocates informs.
Considering the responses of the advocates for protecting victims’ successors, the porotection of the interests of the other successors will be organized by involving other advocates on voluntary basis.
The RA Chamber of Advocates will ensure the independent work of the public defenders of the rights of the defendant and the successors of the victims in this criminal case in order to exclude possibility conflicts of interest.
