Press Service of the RA TARS Ministry informs that on 15 January at 07:07, information about the fire in the Elderly Nursing Home in Gyumri was received. The fire was extinguished by the local forces, corpses of two women were found in one of the rooms.
According to the initial version, in room # 53 of the Nursing Home at 18 Yerevan Highway in Gyumri, a blanket fell down on the electric heater, which caused fire, and as a result two women A.O., (DoB 1953) and H.A. (DoB 1934) were suffocate from smoke and died.
