Investigation Committee provided Details on the Assassination Attempt on the Armenian Farmer form the Territory of Azerbaijan

Tavush marz Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the RA have initiated a criminal case on the fact of  an assassination attempt from the territory of Azerbaijan on the 43-year-old Armenian farmer form the village Paravakar.

On 11 January at 13:00pm, from the base station “Alenu Budka” (the “Dear Booth”) located on Azerbaijanian territory on the motive of national hatred and intentional murder the shooting was released in the direction of a 43-year-old Armenian farmer form the village Paravakar Albert Zohrabyan, who had gone to the place named “Tsaturats Dzor” (Tsaturats Gauge), which belonged to Pravakar village having the aim to gather some wood for the stove. As a result of shooting the vehicle “VAZ 2121” L/N 34 AD 169 of the farmer was burnt.

On 12 January, Berd Investigation Department initiated a criminal case on the fact under the requirements of Article 34-104, Clause 2, Point 13 and Article 185, Clause 2, Point 4.
Ther was no possibility provided to conduct investigation in place based on the fact that the enemy continued shooting.

Albert Zohrabyan was recognized a victim and was questioned. The preliminary investigation is in process.
