Former Minister of Justice, Hrayr Tovmasyan wrote in his Facebook page:
“20-21 days before in Berlin, we with Vardan Poghosyan visited Vahan. Everything in fact was clear, but I did not see a depressed person, he wanted to finish the second book. He said I shall maneg to finish if I have some ten days. I wanted to talk in general, but it was difficult. We stayed there for about two hours. After saying good-by, when I was already at the doorway I turned and understood that I shall not see him again. I looked away, but I couldn’t stop my tears as I couldn’t do it at the moment when I learnt about Vahans death.
Yeah, Dear Vahan, I shall ask Armen to beat me one day in the archway, and I shall beat him.”
