The RA Prosecutor’s Office informs that on 23 December 2014, as a result of personal search of the advocate R.M. who had visited the prisoner of “Artik” penitentiary A.P., the officers of “Artik” penitentiary found suspicious masses weighing 31.7, 29.1 and 5.6 grams.
On the same day the officers found suspicious masses weighing 5.2, 4.2 and 1.3 grams in the toilet of the administrative building of the penitentiary. R.M. said that an unknown person in Gyumri had given the parcels to pass to the prisoner of “Artik” penitentiary A.P.
The chemical examination of the suspicious mass revealed that 55.7 grams of it was marijuana and 0.20 grams “hashish oil” drug.
On 24 December 2014a criminal case was initiated according to Article 266 Part 2 Clause 2 and Article 268 part 2 Clause 2.
According to the source, based on the suspect occurred on the commission of crime (Criminal Procedure Code of the RA Articles 34 and 128-131.1) K.G., the Senior Public Prosecutor of Shirak marz arrested Advocate R.M. on 24 December 2014.
The prosecutor personally, informed about this by telephone the President of the RA Chamber of Advocates of the RA.
