On 26 December, President Serzh Sargsyan participated in a reception held at the RA central Bank in celebration of New Year and Christmas. The Armenian President congratulated the CBA staff and the workers of the banking system of the RA and their families good health, happiness and success, as well as peace to our country, the Official Website of the RA President informs.
In his congratulatory speech the President also referred to the recent development in the currency market of the republic and their influence on the economy of Armenia, as well as the undertaken measures and the upcoming programs.
Serzh Sargsyan stressed that Armenia has sufficient reserves, will and desire to avoid country’s financial instability.
The President stressed the importance of joint efforts to face the challenges of difficult situations, recalling in the banking system efficient and successful operation during the previous crisis, while at the same time the banking systems of many other countries faced problems.
Serzh Sargsyan emphasized that today there are all opportunities to solve the problems and maintain financial stability.
