Today, 3 persons were arrested under the case of the death of the soldier Davit Koloyan in the look-out station, which is investigated in the Investigation department of the first garrison of the general department on Military Criminal Department of the RA. The Information and Public relations Department of the RA Investigative Committee informed to Iravaban.net.
The source informs that the Platoon Commander, Lieutenant M. Babayan and two soldiers were arrested in the framework of the criminal case. M.Babayan is charged under Part 1 of Article 375 of the RA criminal Code (Abuse of power, transgression of authority or administrative dereliction). The soldiers are suspected in humiliation of D. Koloyan’s honor and self-esteem, persecution and violence.
Simonian soldier was arrested according to Article 359, part 1 (episode 2) and Article 360, part 1 (episode 2) of the Criminal Code of the RA. Soldier Chapukhyan was arrested according to Article 360, part 1 (episode 3) of the Criminal Code of the RA.
