The Central Electoral Commission of the RA convened an Extraordinary Session.

On 15 December the Central Electoral Commission of the Republic of Armenia convened an extraordinary session. The Commission discussed the expenditure report of the control and audit service on the financial flows of the pre-election funds of the candidates registered for the elections to the local self government bodies that took place on 14 December.

Sevak Hovhannisyan, the Head of Control and Audit Service informed that the candidate to the post of the Mayor of Charentsavan City, which is the only community with over 10.000 voters, had submitted to the control and audit service  within the established terms all the required declarations on the payments to the pre-election fund and on their spending.

Verification of the information of the reference on the cash flow of the pre-election fund provided by the bank and the information provided by the candidate as well as all the attached documents revealed no findings of violations of the campaign financing rules.

Also please note that all applications with requirement of review or annulling the results of the votes in 35 communities of the republic that took place on 14 December might have been submitted to the corresponding election commission of the electoral district. The deadline for submission of applications was December 15, at 18:00․
