A criminal case was initiated under the requirements Part 2 of Article 309 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia based on the materials prepared in the in the Special Investigation Service of the Republic of Armenia according to the report of the prisoner of “Nubarashen” Criminal-Executive Institution of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia.
The prisoner of “Nubarashen” Criminal-Executive Institution reported that on 10 November, 2014, upon the end of a regular court hearing on his case, the officials of state special service of the detention facility of the prisoners of Vagharshapat Department of Armavir Regional Administration of the Police of the Republic of Armenia committed violence against him striking in different parts of his body having the intention hamper lodging a complaint.
A preliminary investigation is in process.
Note: The suspect or the accused of the alleged offense is deemed innocent unless his or her innocence is proved by virtue of the effective court verdict in the manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia.
