The sides hailed the Armenian-Georgian friendly relations and noted the importance of their continued development. Armenia’s Prime Minister and President of Georgia expressed satisfaction with the high level of bilateral political dialogue and stressed that efforts should be made to deliver the same level of trade and economic cooperation. The two sides expressed hope that the agreements will continue to be implemented for the benefit of both countries and peoples.
The sides also discussed the issues of participation of both countries in integration processes and regional developments. The RA Prime Minister passed the invitation of the President of Armenia to the President of Georgia to attend the commemoration ceremony of the Armenian Genocide on 15 April 2015 in Yerevan. The President of Georgia in his turn, passed his best wishes to the President of Armenia and the Armenian people.
The tête-à-tête meeting of the RA Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan with the President of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili followed with a working lunch with participation of the other members of the Governmental delegation. Issues related to the process of the projects in transport, energy, tourism and other spheres were discussed, and the importance of continuation of cooperation in these areas was emphasized.
