In the night from November 9-10, 2014 at about 5.30AM, the policeman of Protection Division of Ararat Department of Ararat Regional Administration of the Police of the RA and his brother, quarreled with two citizens. The dispute arisen around the personal mutual relationship took place near the van-cottage located on the right side of Yerevan-Yeraskh highway. The Policemen and his brother beat brothers Yeghishe M. and Artur M. with a big handicraft metal key and metal hoist.
During the quarrel, the policeman intentionally broke the protective shields of the rear window and the rear right side window of “Mercedes” car owned by Yegishe M. Afterwards, he abducted the car and stole “Nokia” mobile phone and “Mercedes” distinguishing sign and left the car in Ararat town.
A criminal case under the Articles 118, 117, 183 and Part 1 of Article 185 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia was initiated based on the materials prepared by the Special Investigation Service of the Republic of Armenia according to the reports of the citizens Yeghishe M. and Artur M.
A preliminary investigation is in process.
