Within the framework of fight against undocumented transactions Artashat Division of the Ministry of Finance recently discovered a big case of transportation of goods without accompanying documents in Ararat Marz. The division officers discovered by operational investigation activities that sole entrepreneur Gevorg Malkhasyan who was engaged in whole and retail trade of hygiene products and detergents, transported goods without accompanying documents by Gazelle and Ford trucks from warehouses owned by him in Byuravan village. A further investigation showed that the warehouse hosted goods with a total cost of about 20M drams acquired without accompanying documents. Artashat Division officers carried out operational investigation activities and discovered another warehouse owned by Gevorg Malkhasyan in the same village and it also stored goods acquired without accompanying documents with a total cost of about 52M drams. Administrative proceedings were filed against the violator.
Whereas the operational investigation activities carried out jointly by officers of OID Artashat and Fast Response Divisions allowed to discover and fix 6 cases of illegal entrepreneurial activity. It was discovered that natural persons had been realizing timber sales without having relevant state registration and without being registered in the tax body.
