“I can state confidently that all those talks are in no way related to the reality. RA Prosecutor General Gevorg Kostanyan is the RA government representative in the ECHR, he is also involved in the Commission carrying out the selection of RA candidates for the judge position at the ECHR and he is not going to replace Alvina Gyulumyan.
As to commenting the news on “discontent” from the RA Prosecutor General`s work, I don`t see the necessity of commenting this kind of stupidity. Indeed, all those will be discontent with General Prosecutor`s work, who are deprived of the opportunities of bypassing the law and acting in a highly corrupted manner. Therefore, the attempts of discrediting the work of Prosecutor General through spreading such absurd news, are too simplistic. And it is characteristic to non-serious people who have distorted apprehension of the work and system of prosecutor`s office”.
