The Number of Women Drivers has Increased: Statistics

8021 females received driver’s license in our Republic in 2013.

Ashot Aharonyan, Head of Information Department of the RA Police wrote this in his Facebook page

During the last two years: from 2012 till now the number of female drivers increased by 16000: Last year 2824 road accidents were registered in Armenia, of which only 10 drivers were women (0.35% of total)

In 2013, only one female driver who had used alcohol was found, and she was disqualified from driving.
