On 31 May, the joint session of the NA Standing Committees on Agriculture and Environment issues, and Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs under the joint presidency of Martun Grigoryan and Gagik Minasyan took place. The joint session discussed budget performance of funds allocated from the state budget to the Ministries of Agriculture, Nature Protection and State Committee of Water Resources of the RA.
Atom Janjughazyan, Chief Treasurer-Deputy Minister of Finance of the RA introduced the Performance Report of Expenditures of the Ministries of Agriculture, Nature Protection and State Committee of Water Resources of the RA, and noted that all programs planned for the reporting year were implemented.
The RA Chief Treasurer informed that in 2013 the RA ministry of Agriculture implemented 19 programs thus ensuring performance of 92,52% and spent 11.9 billion AMD. The sums foreseen for the Social Packages were utilized by 75,3%. He noted that savings were made from the sums designed for the maintenance of the Ministry.
