On 25 June at about 12:00 p.m. a group of individuals dressed in black and wearing masks convoyed Grigor Vardanyan (the name is changed) from Gyumri city to Spitak Police Department of Lori marz, to give evidences informs the Office of Human Rights Defender.
Vardanyan’s relatives applied to the Human Rights defenders Lori regional office on the same day and informed that Vardanyan had injured his leg and he is suffering pain for already 7 hours in Police department. They also added that he did not eat anything during the whole time. He was not offered advocate’s services either.> In addition the policemen refused to pass Vradanyan the food that his relatives brought.
Representatives of Lori Office of the Human Rights defender visited Spitak Police department and talked to the head of the department.
Only after mitigation of the right protective authorities Vardanyan was allowed to leave the police department.
