Today, a working group has been established on the decision of Acting Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan. In the period of three months the working group will examine the most frequent violations of traffic rules and their number and the statistics of imposed fines, as well as the international practice and if necessary submit the results of the study and the recommendations to the Staff of the RA Government.
According to the information of the website of the RA Ministry of Justice, Hrayr Tovmasyan, Acting Minister of Justice f the RA will head the group. A. Osikyan, Deputy Head of the RA Police at the Government of the RA, A. Chilingaryan, Head of the Legal department of the Traffic Police, Z.Arakelyan, Head of the Legal department of the Staff of Yerevan Municipality, E.Hovhannisyan, President of the “Center for Protection of Drivers’ Rights” NGO, A Ananyan, Chairman of the “The Union of Actuaries of Armenia” are included in the working group.
The first meeting of the working group will be held on 15 April.
