On 2 July, 2012, pursuant to Article 79 (2) of the Constitution of the RA and based on Article 18 (1e) and Article 24.1 (1) of the RA Law “Rules of procedure of the National Assembly”, Armenian Parliament Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan signed decree on approval of Composition of Newly Established Ethics Committee of the NA.
According to the order, Davit Harutyunyan (ruling Republican Party of Armenia) was approved as the committee head. Nikol Pashinyan (opposition Armenian National Congress), deputy head of the committee. Members: Meruzhan Simonyan (Prosperous Armenia Party), Hovhannes Margaryan (Orinats Yerkir), Artsvik Minasyan (ARF Dashnaktsutyun) and Zaruhi Postanjyan (Heritage).
