Yezidi, 23-year-old Maxim Bakoyan, killed his step-father, an ethnic Kurd, 54-year-old Evilia Gyulishtekinin on March 15 in Gyumri. Aziz Tamoyan, president of the Yezidi Union in the interview to “Zhoghovurd” Daily (armlur.am) informed that according to the traditional law of Yezidi nationality he had the right to kill his step-father, to take a revenge for his mother.
Tamoyan informed armlur.am that he was going to apply to the RA prosecutor General Gevorg Kostanyan, with a request to be lenient towards Bakoyan.
