On 20 May, 2024, the Anti-Corruption court accepted another lawsuit filed by the Prosecutor General’s Office, regarding confiscation of property of illegal origin.

Prosecutor General’s Office reported.

The Department for Confiscation of Property of Illegal Origin of the Prosecutor General’s Office submitted a demand to the court with request to confiscate from Vardan Harutyunyan (who in the period of 2014- 2016 hold the positions of Chairman of the Board of Directors, Director General of CJSC Gazprom Armenia, Member of the Board of Directors of Gazprom Armenia, Member of Board of Gazprom Armenia, in 2016-2018, Chairman of the RA State Revenue Committee) and his related persons:

• 23 real estates.
• 9 vehicles.
• 473 thousand USD deposit.
• The right to request a loan granted in the amount of 6 million 239 thousand USD and 219 million 880 thousand AMD.
• An amount equal to the purchase price (illegal part) of the property acquired in the city of London, United Kingdom, which is 242 million 128 thousand AMD.
• 1 billion 61 million 438 thousand drams as the balance of the income received from the use of property of illegal origin.

• 4 billion 975 million 318 thousand AMD, which is not supported by legal income, has an illicit origin and was transferred to bona fide acquirers during the period under review or it is impossible to identify it.
