The Deceased 29-Year-Old Resident of Shgharshik Community was married and had 3 Children

Earlier we reported that a patient died at the “Talin” Medical Center. It was noted that the patient is a 29-year-old resident of one of the villages of Aragatsotn region, who had an “ectopic operation” in the hospital and at around 12:30, under unknown circumstances, she felt worse, which became the cause of her death.

Iravaban.net spoke with Arabo Harutyunyan, head of Shgharshik administrative district of Aragatsotn marz, in order to find out details about the 29-year-old woman and what happened.

He noted that the woman lived in Shgharshik, was married, had 3 children, the eldest son is 7 years old, the daughters are 4 years old and 7 months old.

“There was an operation, after which she died 2 days later. According to doctors, a blood clot burst, which was the cause of death,” he said.

Earlier, the Investigative Committee informed that a criminal proceeding was initiated in connection with the incident under the features of Article 187, Part 2 of the RA Criminal Code (Non-fulfillment or improper fulfillment of professional duties by a medical worker, which caused the death of a person or other serious consequences due to negligence).

“A forensic medical examination was appointed; the medical documents related to her were seized from the Tallin Medical Center, where the 29-year-old woman was in post-operative inpatient treatment until she died.

Other necessary investigative actions are also being carried out in order to find out the circumstances of the incident and the causes of death. The investigation is in process,” Gor Abrahamyan, Press Secretary of the Central Committee said.
