The Armenian Para-Armwrestling Team recorded Impressive Results in the 26th European Championship

Armenia’s para-armwrestling team is participating in the 26th European Armwrestling Championship in Slovakia these days with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports and has already recorded impressive results.

The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports reported.

On 8 May, our athletes won prizes in various sports classifications and weight categories.

– Athletes with physical disabilities, sitting:

Sargis Harutyunyan – 55 kg weight category, 1st place.

Shahen Babayan – 65 kg weight category, 3rd place.

Hovhannes Avanesyan – 75 kg weight category, 2nd place.

– Athletes with cerebral palsy sitting,

Volodya Bazeyan – 65 kg weight category, 3rd place.

Athletes with physical disabilities, standing

Naira Mesropyan in + 65 kg weight category, 1st place.

– Athletes with physical disabilities aged 14-23, standing

Gurgen Antonyan – 65 kg weight category, 1st place.

Athletes with upper extremity physical disabilities, standing

Serob Abrahamyan – 85 kg weight category, 3rd place.

On 9 May , our athletes stood out in the right-handed competition, registering remarkable results.
