The statement of the Ministry of Defence of Azerbaijan that on 8 April, between 11:35 p.m. and 11:45 p.m., the units of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia opened fire in the direction of the  Azerbaijani combat positions in the southeastern section of the border doesn’t correspond to reality.

At the same time, the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Armenia reports that on 8 April, at 10:50 p.m., the units of the Azerbaijani armed forces opened fire in the direction of the positions of the Armenian Armed in the area of ​​Aravus (Syunik Marz) and at 22:55 in Khoznavar (Syunik Marz).
