Minister of Justice Grigor Minasyan presented in the National Assembly the report on the progress and results of the Program of the Republic of Armenia (2021-2026) for the year 2023, during which he referred to the whistleblowing system and its recorded results. Minasyan noted that the legal mechanisms of the reporting system have been improved, and the types of reporting have been expanded.

“We have started a nationwide campaign, as a result of which both the quantitative and qualitative indicators of reporting have increased by 80 percent as of today. In the past, if people reported, they did not understand the consequences or the reports were of very low quality, the law enforcement officers spent a huge amount of resources, today we are noting with the colleagues of the ministry that we have also had a qualitative increase,” the Minister noted.
