According to the summary data of the crime and safety index of the international authoritative analytical information portal NUMBEO, Armenia has maintained its position among the 146 safest countries in the world, occupying the 7th position.

According to the same portal, Yerevan has improved its position. The capital Yerevan ranked 15th among the 329 safest cities. Last year it was the 20th. Notably, Armenia and Yerevan are leaders in the ranking table both in the region and among CIS countries and cities.
