The criminal prosecution against the Second President of RA, Robert Kocharyan, was terminated due to the lack of justifiable grounds, “Lurer” reported.

Kocharyan is accused of accepting a $3 million bribe from businesswoman Silva Hambardzumyan, the statute of limitations expired in May, and at the previous session Kocharyan did not object to the termination of the criminal prosecution against him due to the lack of justifiable grounds.

Earlier, Kocharyan’s defenders considered it unlikely that Kocharyan would decide not to object to the termination of the criminal prosecution without acquittal. Kocharyan did not answer this question of “Lurer” about ‘what had changed’ and left the courtroom.
