The first session of the RA Management Academy of Justice was held on 7 October. The seven members of the Council unanimously elected Vazgen Rshtuni, judge of the Court of General Jurisdiction of Ajapnyak and Davitashen Administrative Districts of Yerevan as Chairman of the Governing Council of the RA Management Academy of Justice.
In compliance with Article 5 of the RA Law on the Academy of Justice the Chair of the Council is elected through secret ballot for a period of one year, among the judge and prosecutor members on the rotation basis.
The following members of the Council attended the first session:
Yervand Khundkaryan, Chairman of Civil and Administrative Chamber of Court of Appeal of the RA,
Hovsep Bedevyan, Chairman of the Administrative Court of Appeal of the RA,
Vazgen Rshtuni, judge of the Court of General Jurisdiction of Ajapnyak and Davidashen Administrative Districts of Yerevan,
Armen danelyan, Deputy prosecutor General of the RA,Hakob Martirosyan, Prosecutor of RA Aragatsotn marz,
Arthur Davtyan, Prosecutor of Shengavit Administrative District of Yerevan,
Hrayr Tovmasyan, Minister of Justice of the RA
Pursuant to the RA Law on the Academy of Justice, the Council of the Academy adopted a decision on the issues for elaboration of the Draft Charter of the Academy and on announcing a tender for the vacancy of the Rector of the Academy.
