Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Marija Pejčinović Burić, in Strasbourg. The Government reports.
The press release reads:
“At the meeting, the humanitarian situation resulted by the forced displacement of more than 100,000 of our compatriots in Nagorno-Karabakh as a result of the policy of ethnic cleansing by Azerbaijan, the further steps of assistance from the international community in solving the existing problems were discussed.
Reference was made to the developments taking place in the region, issues related to the process of normalization of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations, and its continuity was emphasized.
Prime Minister Pashinyan laid flowers at the Armenian cross-stone in front of the headquarters of the Council of Europe.”
