The Central Electoral Commission informs that today, September 19, at 11:00 a.m., drawing of lots for the mandatory recount will take place in all 10 constituency electoral commissions of Yerevan. We remind that the CEC sessions are broadcasted on the CEC website. At the same time, in the same session, the constituency electoral commissions will review the recounting documents.
According to part 1.1 of Article 50 of the Electoral Code, in all constituencies there will be a mandatory drawing of lots of the results of at least three precincts.
According to Article 50 of the Electoral Code, recounting will begin today, on 19 September, at 2:00 p.m. and will end on 22 September at 2:00 p.m.
One proxy and candidate from each party, as well as representatives of the observation mission and mass media can be present at the recount. The recounting works will be broadcast on the CEC website as well.
