Head of the Migration Service Armen Ghazaryan stated on the live broadcast of the Central Electoral Commission that according to the current Electoral Code, non-citizens of the Republic of Armenia who have been registered in a community for at least one year acquire the right to vote.
“As for Indian citizens, I can say that 89 Indian citizens have the right to vote in these elections to Yerevan Council of Elders,” he said.
Ghazaryan said that a total of 14,653 foreigners have the right to vote. 11 thousand 890 of them are citizens of Russian.
