The three Armenian young men abducted by Azerbaijan from the border checkpoint illegally installed in the Lachin Corridor have been released.
“Armenpress” reported referring to the Azerbaijani media.
Earlier, the Prosecutor General’s Office of Azerbaijan announced that it was suspending the criminal prosecution against three Armenian youths who were abducted at the Lachin Corridor checkpoint.
An “administrative punishment in the form of 10-day detention” was applied to them, after which, according to the statement of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Azerbaijan, they will be “deported from the territory of Azerbaijan”.
On 28 August, residents of Nagorno-Karabakh, Alen Sargsyan, Vahe Hovsepyan and Levon Grigoryan, were abducted by Azerbaijani law enforcement agencies at the illegal checkpoint located in the Lachin corridor.
