We are deeply concerned about the worsening humanitarian situation in Nagorno-Karabakh as a result of the ongoing blockade of supplies of food, medicine and other essential goods. US Department State representative Vedant Patel announced this during the briefing.

“The United States has been working continuously with the parties over the past several weeks to ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid to the people of Nagorno-Karabakh, and we reiterate our call for the immediate reopening of the Lachine Corridor to humanitarian, commercial and passenger traffic,” Patel said.
