The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia informs that the message spread by the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan that allegedly on 16 August, around 18:20, the units of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia opened fire in the direction of the Azerbaijani positions located in the eastern part of the border zone, does not correspond to reality.
