Advisor to the President of Artsakh, Davit Babayan, referred to the kidnapping of a 68-year-old Artsakh citizen and wrote:

“How many times have we warned that this so-called Azerbaijani checkpoint will be a place of arrest, kidnapping, and abuse of the citizens of Artsakh? Today’s crime of Azerbaijan has already opened a new page. All those who have an obligation to protect human rights, maintain stability and peace in the region must no longer act as spectators, otherwise they will actually turn out to be accomplices.”
