The Food Safety Inspection Body reports that in Spitak Vommunity of Lori Marz, a citizen’s dog broke the chain and attacked two playing children, causing them physical injuries. The children were transported to the hospital.
Upon receiving information about the incident, the inspectors of the Lori Regional Center of the RA Food Safety Inspection Body took necessary actions.
The dog was immediately isolated. According to established procedures, the animal will be under daily surveillance and, in the event of a change in behavior, in the presence of clinical signs of certain diseases, in particular, rabies, appropriate measures will be taken (the dog will be euthanized and taken to a laboratory test).
The condition of one of the children is assessed as serious, the other was provided the necessary first aid, after which he was discharged from the hospital.
