Judge Gagik Poghosyan, judge of the Court of General Jurisdiction of Kentron and Nork Marash Administrative Districts of Yerevan announced the verdict Vardan Sedrakyan’s Khachatur Poghosyan’s and Samvel Harutyunyan’s case.
The Court sentenced the former presidential candidate Vardan Sedrakian to 14 years in prison, Khachatur Poghosyan was sentenced to 14 years and Samvel Harutyunyan to 12 years in prison.
The former presidential candidate Paruyr Hairikyan’s civil lawsuit claiming to confiscate money from the defendants was not considered.
Note. Everyone charged with a criminal offense shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty by the court verdict lawfully entered into force as prescribed by Criminal Procedure Code.
