Today the Court of General Jurisdiction of  Kentron and Nork Marash Administrative Districts continued the case investigation on accusation against Vardan Setrakian, Khachatur Poghosyan and Samvel Harutyunyan.
During the court hearing the witnesses on the case were Paruyr Hayrikyan’s neighbors and Karen Zajkaryan, the taxi driver.
After the questioning, the defendant Samvel Harutyunyan made a scandalous statement, “Vardan Sedrakyan has not any connection to this case. We have done this having the aim to extort money from him.”
For information: according to Article 102 of the RA Criminal Code the court considers only solicitations and claims, thus no motion was made with regard to the statement.
