Another misinformation is being spread on the Facebook social network that Red Cross employees are transporting humanitarian aid from Akna (Aghdam) through the town of Askeran, accompanied by Russian peacekeepers.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh assures that no means of transport passed through the police checkpoint of Askeran city to Akna and in the opposite direction, and even more no humanitarian cargo was transported.
At the same time, the Ministry calls not to pay tribute to unspecified information and refrain from divisive and slanderous actions.
The officers of the Askeran Regional Department of Police are on duty around the clock at that checkpoint, keeping the passage of Askeran city and neighboring settlements under constant observation.
