Armenia-Greece-Cyprus Trilateral Defense Consultations in Cyprus

On 5 July, Armenia-Greece-Cyprus trilateral defense consultations were held in the Republic of Cyprus.

The Armenian delegation headed by Levon Ayvazyan, head of the Defense Policy and International Cooperation Department of the RA Ministry of Defense, participated in the consultations.

During the consultations, a number of security and cooperation issues within the interests of the three countries were discussed.

The parties reaffirmed their readiness to take joint steps to strengthen the defense capability and military security of the three countries.

As a result of the discussions, the annual program of trilateral military cooperation was signed, which includes a number of events in Armenia, Greece and Cyprus.

At the end of the consultations, the Chief of the Cypriot National Guard, Lieutenant General Dimokritos Zervakis, received the delegations as well.
