Russia calls on Armenia not to withdraw from work in a trilateral format, and Azerbaijan – to take measures to unblock the Lachin corridor. The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova stated at a briefing on Wednesday. TASS News Agency writes.
“We call on Yerevan not to withdraw from work in trilateral formats. Idle time in their activities has a detrimental effect on the situation in the region and generally leads to an escalation of the situation on the ground,” Zakharova noted. “And we call on Baku to take steps to completely unblock the [Lachin] corridor for humanitarian purposes and not to make the Karabakh population a hostage of political disagreements with Yerevan.” Zakharova said.
