On 28 April, at 12:15, the Askeran Regional Police Department received a report from Sevak Petrosyan, the Head of the Nakhichevanik Community, that shots were fired with firearms of different calibers from the enemy’s combat positions at a citizen while the latter was carrying out agricultural work in the administrative area of the said village.
The Police of the Artsakh Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
The inspector who went to the scene found out that on the same day at around 11:05 a.m., Artur Ramazyan, a resident of Askeran town, was carrying out agricultural work in the pomegranate garden in the said area with a “Belarus 82” tractor, when from the adjacent Azerbaijani combat positions, fire was fired at the tractor with rifle weapons.
The resident stopped agricultural work. The report was passed to the Russian Peacekeeping Troops.
