The import of humanitarian goods from Armenia has been restored to a certain extent: Artsakh InfoCenter

As a result of the efforts of the Government of the Republic of Artsakh and the peacekeeping forces of the Russian Federation, the import of humanitarian goods from the Republic of Armenia, disrupted by the establishment of an illegal Azerbaijani checkpoint on the Artsakh-Armenia border in recent days, has been somewhat restored.

Artsakh InfoCenter reported.

The main part of the cargo imported through the peacekeepers was basic necessities – food included in the coupon system, which will be delivered to the stores from tomorrow and the citizens will be able to buy.

As for the period of activity of unredeemed coupons, taking into account the instruction of the State Minister to solve the problem, additional work is being done in that direction and we will make a separate statement about it.

We ask for the forgiveness and understanding of our compatriots for not delivering even the amount of food provided by coupons within the specified period, which is due to the serious obstacles caused by the Azerbaijani side to the transportation of humanitarian goods.
