Another claim regarding the confiscation of property of illicit origin was accepted in the Anti-Corruption Court proceedings. The Press Service of the Prosecutor’s Office reported.

The Department for Confiscation of Property of Illicit Origin of the General Prosecutor’s Office submitted a request to the Court to confiscate from the contractor of the “Tranche 1” and “Tranche 2” sections of the “North-South Road Corridor” project, the subcontractor of the Armenian branch of the Spanish company “Corsan Corviam Construction” and the participant of the company “Poli-Transport” LLC, S.V., in favor of the Republic of Armenia the following:

• 2 immovable properties and 1 vehicle located in Vahagni district, and in case of impossibility, their average market value, which totals to more than 316 million AMD.
• About 1 billion 21 million AMD, the sum total of the amount provided as a loan, drams transferred to bona fide third parties not justified by legal income, and the balance of illicit income.
