Due to the blocking by Azerbaijan of the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia, 7 people from the “Republican Medical Center” CJSC of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Artsakh with severe diseases of the tumor and cardiovascular system, as well as with pathologies requiring emergency surgical interventions, today, on 9 February, were transferred to RA specialized medical centers through the mediation International “Red Cross”.

Artsakh Ministry of Health reported.

“Planned surgeries continue to be suspended in the medical institutions operating under the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Artsakh.

8 children are in the neonatal and intensive care units in “Arevik” Medical Association.

9 patients are in the intensive care unit at the “Republican Medical Center” CJSC, 3 of them are in critical condition.

Until today, a total of 83 patients have been transferred from Artsakh to Armenia with the mediation and accompaniment of the International Committee of the Red Cross,” the statement said.
