On 6 February, at 14:24 local time (at 10:24 GMT), the seismological network of the Seismic Protection Territorial Service of the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations recorded an earthquake at the geographical coordinates of 38.05⁰ north latitude and 37.25⁰ east longitude in Turkey. 60 km northeast of the city of Kahramanmaraş , with a depth of 10 km, an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.7.
The Rescue Service of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
The strength of the underground shock in the epicentral zone was 10-11 points.
The earthquake was felt in the city of Yerevan with a magnitude of 3, in the city of Gyumri of Shirak marz with a magnitude of 3-4.
