According to the decision of the government, Mushegh Muradyan was appointed the governor of Shirak.

According to another decision of the government, Nazeli Baghdasaryan was released from the position of governor.

Governor of Shirak Nazeli Baghdasaryan issued a statement and said that on 25 January, she submitted her resignation from the position of the Governor of Shirak Marz to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

“I express my gratitude to the Prime Minister, colleagues of the executive and legislative bodies, as well as representatives of diplomatic and international institutions, for effective cooperation.

As much as Shirak’s position of governor was responsible, it was also honorable. I assure that during my term of office, I combined my efforts and knowledge to solve the problems and concerns of the region. However, I must record that no individual or official can succeed in his/her work if his/her does not have a knowledgeable team and experienced associates.

I thank the staff of Shirak Marz Administration for their high professionalism and consistent work.

The best indicator of the work done is the evaluation and attitude of the people, which, increasing day by day and obliged me even more as the Governor. Considering the problem and concern of each resident of Shirak Marz as mine, I tried to solve it asd soon as possible.

I fully hope that the impartiality, fairness, and state thinking adopted in my work will continue to be a benchmark for Shirak Governorate.
