Funding of the “Affordable Housing for Young Families” State Program will increase within the framework of the state target program “Affordable Housing for Young Families” implemented under the coordination of the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports. In 2022 (as of 1 December), 787 families were subsidized: 227 from Yerevan, 560 from RA marzes.

The program was launched in 2010. During this period, 5,574 families (including the number of families in 2022) were provided continuous subsidies from the RA state budget.
The financing of the state target program “Affordable Housing for Young Families” from the 2022 state budget amounted to 1 billion 737 million 500 thousand drams. It is planned that the state financing of the program will amount to 2 billion 64 million 900 thousand drams in 2023.
Let’s note for comparison, that in the previous two years, the amount actually allocated from the RA state budget for the purpose of subsidizing the state target program “”Affordable Housing for Young Families” was 1 billion 351 million 398 thousand 460 drams in 2021 and 1 billion 146 million 929 thousand 700 drams, respectively in 2020.
