Artsakh has been under blockade for 11 days. It is a difficult psychological situation, because some of them have already accumulated emotion, energy, and aggression – why is nothing being done? Others, who were hoping that this would end very quickly, have started depression, and that is understandable.
Artsakh Minister of State Ruben Vardanyan said today, on 22 December, live on Facebook.
“As a responsible person, I want to ask you to believe that we are doing everything to change this situation as quickly as possible and find solutions,” he said.
Ruben Vardanyan mentioned that yes, the situation is difficult, there is a problem with food and gasoline, but we are trying to do everything, to find solutions. He also met the parents whose children remained in Armenia and tried to understand what can be done in this situation.
“Several people have died and we cannot bring the bodies to Artsakh, we have problems that families are separated, in addition to the children, and this is already the 11th day,” the Minister of State of Artsakh said.
He emphasized that they are responsible, and are working, they will do it, and they will not let anyone turn all this into chaos. Vardanyan also spoke about the calls he received from Armenia, when in one case they did not imagine the seriousness of the situation, and invited him to Armenia. In a conversation with another caller, he said:
“I am a lucky person, now the best period in my life; I am 54 years old, being a successful businessman, lucky father, husband and son. Perhaps these are my best days that I work for my nation, I put my knowledge, experience, what I have for the most important thing: how to make my motherland stay independent, strong, stay on its own during this historical crisis and that makes me happy. In this very difficult situation, we should have this feeling in ourselves in this very difficult situation that we are not doing it for ourselves, but for future generations,” Ruben Vardanyan said.
